St. Brigid Catholic Church

The Architect was asked to develop a long range Master Plan for an existing parish located in Northwest San Antonio.  The Master Plan analyzed the projected growth impacts occurring in the area and determined the expansion requirements of the parish. The parish participated in liturgical learning events over a six month period. This process included workshops on liturgical space, rites and rituals. Experts were brought in to have open discussions with parishioners. The final program includes an addition of a new 1200 seat church and renovation of the existing facilities into a community center and parish hall.  Other program considerations included a new rectory, administration expansion, additional meeting rooms, expanded classroom facilities, and expansion of the St. Vincent de Paul facilities.
